Sandy Arts Guild President
With 10 years of passionate service, the Sandy Arts Guild would like to thank Myron Denison for his kind support and endless hours of dedication for the arts in our city. When asked about his dedication, Myron said “I don’t want anyone saying that he didn’t do his best.”
The Sandy Arts Guild has achieved “BEST OF STATE” recognition. We couldn’t have received this kind of recognition without the support and talents of people like Myron Denison.
Myron has been married since 1970 and has 4 children and 15 grandchildren. He grew up in a family of nine siblings. When asked about his background and career, he said, "I started out as a “bagger” at Safeway Food stores then became the controller for the Utah Symphony after college. That got me into the cultural side of life though I was a better athlete than an actor. I used both culture and sports: playing an trumpet, being in a few plays and playing a lot of basketball, baseball, softball and football. I have retired from Zions Bank but have taken on another full-time job being the CFO of Aerocape Inc, a full-service landscape company with over $5,000,000 in revenues. I have to stay busy most of the time but love to golf, fish with my kids and travel with my wife Karen."
