I Am Sandy
Jerry Kennedy has lived in Sandy for 49 years. He and his wife Jeannie have 4 children, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The great neighborhoods and family friendly atmosphere are just some of the reasons that they chose to make Sandy their home. Jerry has volunteered at the driving range at River Oaks Golf Course in Sandy since 2004 and just started working part time on the maintenance crew in September 2016. He enjoys being at the golf course and he and his wife belong to a traveling golf league called The Rounders. In his spare time, Jerry enjoys restoring old cars and his restoration projects include a 1947 Mercury 2 door Coupe, a 1953 Ford Victoria and a 1966 Chevy Chevelle Super Sport.
Jerry served in the Marine Corp Reserves for 3 years and he also a Sandy Lions Club member for 5 years where he helped to renovate the old City Hall where the Parks and Recreation offices are now located.
Jerry and his wife love Sandy and are proud to call this city their home.
