Bradburn Brief: Happy Holidays 2018
The Christmas season is a magical time filled with opportunities to connect with friends and family. It’s about creating lasting memories and renewing family traditions. In movies like “It’s A Wonderful Life” the community becomes a vital character in building those holiday traditions. It’s my hope that our city creates that sense of community and cements those happy memories for your families this holiday season.
During the month of November, we held three different community meetings to solicit your feedback on Quail Hollow Park. I was encouraged to see how many of you came out to express your thoughts and feelings about the area. We heard loud and clear that most residents want to keep this area as is with a few small improvements. I made a promise that we would gather public input before making decisions that affect the community and I hope you felt that I delivered on that promise by making these forums available. We are in the process of compiling all of the information and creating a plan for those minor improvements. We will continue to gather input before any changes are made in the park. If you were not able to attend a community meeting you can still post your comments on:
Lastly, please remember that you can always connect with us to get more information by going to our City websites sandy.utah.gov and SandyNow.com and by accessing our social media channels Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube for daily updated information.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you. Have a very Merry Christmas!
– Mayor Kurt Bradburn
