Splash Pad at Amphitheater Park opened May 25 (weather permitting)

Spock’s Skate Camp – Learn the fundamentals of skateboarding. This four-day camp is only $75 and for kids 6-14 years old, on Fridays, June 7, 14, 21, & 28. Visit for more information. Register online at

Parks Program – Fun-filled activities will include arts & crafts, games, and storytelling.
For ages 5-9. Program begins June 10.  Locations fill fast, so register early.

Crafts for Preschool Children – Arts and crafts, games and storytelling for preschool children.
1st session begins June 10. For ages 3-4. Must be potty trained.

 “I Can Tri” Sprint Triathlon - Saturday, June 15. Registration deadline: June 11.

Barry Hecker Basketball Camp – For grades 3-9 girls and boys—in its 21st year. The ability to teach the basic fundamentals of footwork, passing, dribbling, and shooting has made the camp a success. June 17-20 from 9:30-11:30 am. Eastmont Middle School, 10100 S. 1300 E.

Junior Golf Program – Taught by PGA Professionals Todd Tanner and Stacey Jones.
Program includes short game practice, range balls, in-depth instruction, video analysis, and on-course play time. For ages 3-18. Next session begins June 10.

Family Night at the Skate Park – Join us on June 3 for Family Night. Theme: Crime Prevention.  Police is the “highlighted” department, 6-8 pm at Lone Peak Park, 10140 South 700 East. This event is FREE to the public. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

FREE Movie in the Park – Bring your family and friends to enjoy an outdoor movie:
June 14, “Jumanji” (theme: glow night) at River Oaks Golf Course, 9300 S. Riverside Dr.
June 21, “Spiderman” at Flat Iron Park, 1700 E. 8600 S.
June 28, “Megamind” at Wildflower Park, 9939 S. Wildflower Rd. (Movies start at 7:30 pm.)

Start Smart Classes – A great program for parents to spend time with their children and help prepare them for future participation in youth sports. Next session begins June 25. 

Swimming Lessons – Our trained instructors can help you become a better swimmer.
